ABOUT TINA

I have been working as an ADD/ADHD Life Coach since January of 2008.  After being diagnosed with ADD and coached by an ADD Coach, Kate Kelly, I decided to help and support others with ADD/ADHD by becoming a Life Coach specializing in ADD/ADHD.  (This came after my working in the corporate world as a CPA for 14 years!)

The first ADD/ADHD Coach Training I had was through ADDed Dimension Coaching by Kate Kelly, RN, MSN, and Peggy Ramundo, BS, ACT, SCAC.  Other training I have completed include “Coaching College Students and Teens with ADHD” and “Coaching Children with ADHD,” which were offered through JST Coaching LLC.  The professionals who led the classes from JST Coaching LLC included Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, MCC, SCAC and Russell Colver, CPCC, SCAC.  I have continued to take various classes by various ADHD specialists in addition to these specific training courses.  I am also enrolled in a Coach Mentoring Program through JST Coaching LLC led by Loretta Spindel, JD, PCC, which will be completed by the end of 2012.

My coaching career began as an intern for ADDed Dimension Coaching Group with Kate Kelly, RN, MSN as my mentor.  Then I decided to start my own coaching business called Changing It Forward.  The name of my business has the same concept as “paying it forward” in the sense that while learning to work with my ADD challenges, I found change not to be the monster I’d always thought thanks to Kate, my ADD Coach.  Now I hope to pass this positive coaching experience on to others.

Having experience in accounting as well as encountering my own financial challenges, I have held a teleclass called “mADD money: Basic Personal Finances for the ADDer” through ADDJourneys.com, which is owned and operated by Sari Solden, MS, LMFT.  I have also incorporated helping clients with budgeting, spending, and other money challenges in the coaching process as needed.

I am located in north Mississippi with an office in Memphis, TN.  I am married and have a stepson who is 21 years old and is also diagnosed with ADHD.  My “babies” are my two cats.  One of them, if not both, is usually by my side any time I am at home.

Coaching sessions can be held over the phone, via Skype, or in person when possible.  Short phone calls, email, and texting are used for check-ins with clients between scheduled calls.  My clients have been from Washington(state) to Texas to Virginia as well as other locations across the country and locally.  The ages of my clients have ranged from 12 to 60 years old.  I am currently working toward my certification as an ADHD Life Coach through the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching (IAAC) as I continue to grow my coaching business.

I am looking for a life coach to help my daughter who will be a sophmore at Ole Miss in the fall. She is VERY ADHD and needs help with organization, procrastination and just plain old laziness. Do you work with college students?
